RALLY - Reading Across Lima Lifts Youth RALLY is a tutoring program that matches volunteers with students, one-on-one or in small groups, to help with reading. If you are interested in volunteering for RALLY, please contact the elementary school for which you would like to volunteer. They will be happy to help you become a RALLY volunteer. Closing the Achievement Gap (CTAG) Closing The Achievement Gap, or CTAG, is in its fifth year of operation in Lima. Through CTAG, adult African-American male mentors are matched with African-American male freshman at Lima Senior. The goal is to help ensure success in high school leading to graduation. This year, there are 115 incoming freshman to the program and mentors are needed. To volunteer to become a mentor, call Bryan Miller, CTAG linkage coordinator, at 419-996-3537 or 419-549-0376. CTAG is a state-funded program. |
