Lima Senior’s Career Technical Education program provides both classroom instruction and real-life opportunities to apply skills learned in the classroom. Students get the chance to see firsthand how it would be working in their field, including through a school restaurant, auto mechanics garage and graphic design shop.
Students should be able to obtain entry-level positions in industry at the end of the two-year career/technical program.
All career/technical programs offered on the Lima Senior High campus are tech-prep programs. As such, students have the chance to receive college credit for parts of the high school program if tech-prep guidelines are met.
All of the Career Tech programs are listed in the links to the left. They each include a video with students, staff and people in industry describing the program. Click through them and see what is available to our students.
