DIGITAL
Akademie

The Lima City Schools offers a Digital Academy for high school students. The option is designed for self-motivated students who would like a format different from the traditional classroom. All classes are taken online using a standards-aligned curriculum.

The program offers a choice for students who struggle with the traditional classroom setting.

Our Digital Academy students are still Spartans and receive support from our Digital Academy coordinator and teachers. Students work online toward obtaining their high school diplomas.

The academy provides a quality, rigorous education leading to graduation.

All technology needed to be part of the Digital Academy is provided by the district. The district strives to develop a partnership and strong working relationship between the school, student and parent.

The Digital Academy uses curriculum from Apex Learning, which provides virtual learning to schools around the country. Its standards-based digital curriculum is widely used for original credit, credit recovery, remediation, intervention, acceleration and exam preparation.
