Aspire Program

Our program offers GED preparation classes in reading, math, science and social studies, as well as refresher courses. We also offer assistance in finding your career path.

If you are thinking about going back to college, and it has been a while since you have been in school, the Aspire program can be a good way to brush up your skills. For more information, contact Laura Ball at 419-996-3082.

GED/HSE

Aspire conducts the GED program. The GED tests include language arts, social studies, science and mathematics. The tests are designed to measure knowledge and skills acquired through four years of high school. The questions in each of these tests require you to use general knowledge and critical thinking skills. The following are GED Requirements:

  • State of Ohio resident

  • Not currently enrolled in school

  • Have not received a high school diploma

GED preparation classes are held at flexible times in multiple locations, please contact Laura Ball at 419-996-3082 for current options. Orientations are offered twice a month from 2 to 6 p.m. Monday and Tuesday. An orientation is required to help assess skill levels and begin your journey through the program.

There is no charge for the orientation or for the classes to help a person prepare for the GED.
