District-Wide Open House coming March 24

The Lima City Schools will once again recognize “Celebrate Public Schools: Experience the Spartan Pride” Week, including with its District-Wide Open House.

The District-Wide Open House will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, at Lima Senior High School.

While held at the high school, every school and program will be represented. Below are just a few of the evening’s highlights.

*Free Meal by Spartan Inn culinary students

*Tour the Building

*Visit Career Tech labs and academic classrooms

*Petting Zoo with LSH Ag/Farm animals

*Student music performances

*Student art exhibit

*Visit Kids Zone with games and activities

*Face painting

*Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt

*Meet School Resource Officers and K-9s

*Fun activities in the library

*Blood pressure checks in Patient Care classroom

*Win prizes – lots of giveaways, plus several grand prizes upon completion of punch card

A special thanks to Cotterman and Company for providing the grand prizes for the evening. Pick up a punch card and visit all the locations on the card for the chance to win one of the grand prizes.
