Liberty Arts Magnet School is creating an outdoor education space designed to both enhance student learning and foster a connection to nature. The space is located on existing land to the north of the building (taking up about 3,750 square feet of space). Lima Senior High School will celebrate its 70 th  Anniversary during its home boys basketball game Saturday, Jan. 24. The Spartans host Bishop Hartley. JV starts at 4:30 p.m., with Varsity following at 6 p.m. Alumni will be featured throughout the game, including all alumni being invited onto the gym floor to sing the Alma mater together before the game begins. The Lima School Board recently welcomed a student representative to join the board, a first for the Lima City Schools. Junior Angela Fronzaglia has been selected to sit on the board as a student representative and was sworn in at the board's organizational meeting.
